Gluten Free Expo Slovenia
I had the great pleasure of participating in a wonderful event – Gluten Free Expo Slovenia, 28th-29th of September 2024.
It took place in the charming town of Radovlijca in Slovenia and was just the unique event full of discovery, education, and enjoyment for everyone who follows a gluten-free diet.
On Saturday there were international cookery workshops on baking gluten free traditional Slovenian delicacies, followed by a reception and concert in the amazing place – Radovljica Manor and then gluten-free dinner at Hiša Linhart, cooked by Michelin-starred chef Uroš Štefelin.
The reception was the great opportunity to meet celiacs from other countries – Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Algeria, Malta, Great Britain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and even the USA.
There were food stands showcasing flavors from different countries, and I couldn’t resist bringing home some delicious treats from Poland. I picked up oscypek cheese with cranberries a delightful pairing of smoky, salty cheese with the tangy sweetness of cranberries. I also treated myself to some traditional Polish sweets, including gluten-free fudge from BEZGLUTEN and the plums in chocolate from Solidarność company. And of course, I couldn’t leave without grabbing some gluten-free dumplings from Sweet Fit company, available in a variety of tasty fillings. A true taste of Poland!

I know that Gluten Free Expo Slovenia is already planned for autumn 2025. I will definitely go there again. Radovijca and the people that I met there just stole my heart.
